The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that is priced in the middle. It has a great mopping performance but lacks some of the features that are found in its more expensive sibling.

During testing it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats from medium-pile carpets. It doesn't use LIDAR however, like cheaper models do, to identify your home.

1. IRobot Roomba S9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ is one of the top-rated robot vacuums. It offers impressive cleaning power and numerous features, including an automatic dirt bin built into its charging base. The robot will learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automated schedules that will give you a truly hands-free cleaning experience.

The iRobot Home App guides you through the process of setting up. Once the system is setup it can begin automatic cleaning with a single button press. You can select the general clean option that focuses on the removal of larger pieces of debris like cereal and rice. You can also opt for two thorough mappings to ensure that your entire home is cleaned thoroughly.

This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with low pile. It is able to pick up pet hair and clean large items up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It has a difficult time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot claims it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on improving edge and corner cleaning. It's the very first Roomba that uses a flat-fronted D-shaped design. The company hopes this will allow it to fit into walls and furniture. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common however we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot also claims that the S9+ has a superior filter system that prevents microscopic dust particles and allergens from circulating throughout your home. We think this is a nice statement but not enough to justify a premium price.

It can then clean your entire home efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other obstacles. The iRobot Home app lets you manage the robot and plan cleaning times, and create virtual boundary markers, so that it knows to avoid areas that need extra attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

When it is about robots that combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vac settings are just as effective as those of higher-end models and its mopping system is even better. Its spinning pads do a much better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibrating pad.

The only issue is that it does not have an additional rubber brush to provide more thorough cleaning, but it's a small cost to pay for if you want one of the best robots available. The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost entirely on its own, requiring only minimal user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that can automatically transfer physical trash to the bin hidden in the background, as well as washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something needs attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled vacuuming session having been canceled due to a full dust bin.

It also has self-cleaning bases that automatically empty and cleans mop pads, keeping them clean and ready for use again. It also comes with a sensor that can detect obstacles better, allowing it to avoid falling on furniture or other objects.

The most significant improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that this model has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The mopping mode of the robot is also powerful.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop that comes with a host of convenience features that you do not often find on robots in this price range. It can make detailed floor maps and detect different flooring types. It's also one of the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice, but they also push the L10s into the premium category. This could make it more expensive than homeowners need.

The L10s Ultra looks like a modern floor cleaner. It's tall and slim and has a white-colored finish, accentuated by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine is dominated by a huge bumper, which protects the vacuum and furniture from damage while moving through the home. Behind the pane at the front is a second navigation technology with sensors that aid the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.
